EASTA 001 — A Modern American Mahjong Set

EASTA 001 is our first American Mahjong collection.

Designed for modern players, it brings together premium acrylic tiles, clear typography, precise geometry, and a cohesive visual system across the complete set.

This is American Mahjong designed as a complete object.

Designed for American Mahjong

EASTA 001 is built around the American Mahjong experience.

The tile faces prioritize immediate recognition during play while maintaining a consistent visual language across suits, Winds, Dragons, Flowers, Jokers, seasons, and special tiles.

The goal is simple:

Make every tile easy to understand and every tile feel like it belongs.

Premium Acrylic Tiles

Acrylic gives EASTA 001 its contemporary material character.

The material allows color, typography, and graphic forms to remain crisp while giving the tiles a clean, polished presence.

Every tile is designed around the same physical proportions and visual system.

A Complete Mahjong Design System

EASTA 001 is not designed as a collection of individual illustrations.

It is a system.

The same principles guide:

  • Number placement
  • Chinese and English typography
  • Suit symbols
  • Winds
  • Dragons
  • Flowers
  • Seasons
  • Jokers
  • Special tiles

This creates visual consistency across the entire set.

Tile Details

EASTA 001 uses a standard tile dimension of 36 × 25 mm.

The tile-face system is designed for recognition first, with graphic refinement used to create a distinctive EASTA identity without compromising playability.

Important: Final production specifications should always follow the latest approved EASTA manufacturing specification.

What’s Included

EASTA 001 includes 160 acrylic tiles:

  • 152 standard American Mahjong tiles
  • 2 additional Joker tiles
  • 6 blank tiles

Contemporary Eastern Design

EASTA does not attempt to reproduce traditional Mahjong aesthetics literally.

Instead, familiar visual ideas are translated through modern geometry, typography, proportion, material, and whitespace.

The result is a design language that feels connected to Mahjong while belonging comfortably in a contemporary American home.

Designed for the Modern Table

Mahjong is social.

The set sits at the center of conversations, celebrations, afternoons with friends, and recurring rituals.

EASTA 001 is designed to look at home in those moments.

Not hidden away.

Not treated as a disposable game accessory.

A piece made to be seen.
